Ice Rink COVID -19 Regulations During Lockdown

  • No more than 10 people on the ice at any one time, 5 people per side
  • A 2 metre Social Distance must be maintained from people outside of your household
  • No team sports
  • Please use the outside benches instead of the change room whenever possible
  • One person is allowed in the change room and washroom at a time. Parents are allowed to accompany their children
  • Face Coverings are mandatory when using the change room and the washroom

The Carling Ice Rink is located outside and does not have a built in cooling system. Due to this, temporary closures may occur on days when the weather is warmer. During these times our staff will be monitoring the weather closely to ensure we can open the rink as soon as the conditions allow.

  • No Hockey sticks, pucks or balls on the ice during Public Skating ( Children under 6 exempt)
  • Children 6 and under may use sticks, pylons or chairs to help them skate
  • No alcohol on the ice or in the building
  • No smoking on the ice or in the building
  • Centennial Park is unsupervised – use a your own risk
  • The Township of Carling assumes no liability for personal injury or damages which may arise out of the use of facilities
  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult
  • Safety equipment must be workn at all times
